LANGUAGE SCHOOL & WORK EXPERIENCE IN SYDNEY

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

Our Internship Program offers a mixture of Language School and Work Experience. The aim of the program is to develop and improve your English skills in terms of general English as well as using it in a business environment. At the beginning of our program we recommend an English Language Course in our cooperating Language School which lasts a minimum of 6 weeks (in the case where you have very good English skills, a language course is not compulsory). In connection with the Language School you will start your working experience in a Sydney based company.

PROGRAM:

Our partner Language School adequately prepares you for your up and coming work experience. You have the ability to choose between several different courses, including a diversity of selective courses. The course on offer contain General English, English for Academic Purpose, Conversation Extra, English for Business Communication and English for Customer Services Communication. Furthermore the Language School offer courses for Cambridge Test, High School Preparation, IELTS, TOEFL, and TOEIC.

The Business Communication Course would be most suitable as a platform for your work experience. This course includes (amongst others) learning new business vocabulary and communication in an English speaking business environment. The school provides 4 different computer rooms, a student cafe, a fully equipped kitchen, a library and a lot more for the needs of the students.

The Language School is based 10 minutes from CBD (by train) and about 10 minutes (by bus) away from the world famous Bondi Beach. A large shopping centre, cafes and restaurants are only a few steps away on foot.

Work Experience

During your stay in the Language School you can meet our Internship coordinator available once a week to answer your questions concerning our Internship Program. In your first week in school you will have an interview with our Internship coordinator to discuss your resume, the work experience program and your aims concerning a placement area. Your resume should have been sent via e-mail to Advantage Partnership beforehand.

A second appointment will be arranged with you and the responsible Human Resources Consultant or Manager at the potential workplace.
